What are some good Chinese movies/shows with English or Spanish subtitles one can watch online? I am a beginner in studying Chinese. It would be nice to have a short television show or perhaps an occasional movie to watch on the weekend to get a sense for the sounds one is making in Mandarin. So a example with clear and relatively simple dialog (but still entertaining) woudl be ideal.

The soap opera 潜伏(qian fu) around 40 minutes for each one. with standard pronunciation ,easy to hear. The running man奔跑吧兄弟(ben pao ba xiong di) is a little longer,but very funny,using not difficult words too. If you want to know some culture things, introduce you 卧虎藏龙，荆轲刺秦王 and 英雄，十面埋伏（Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon、jingke ci qinwang/ hero/ House of Flying Daggers/） but the Jet Li's huangfeihong series is the best kongfu movie. 黄飞鸿之男儿当自强 is the best show.

I think The Flowers of War (金陵十三钗）is a good choice. It casts Christian Bale. So some of the parts is spoken in English. It also has English subtitles. It is a beautiful and heart touching film about the battle in China during World war two.
