What does flix mean in this sentence I borrowed your drive so I can watch some flix while I study. What does flix mean in this sentence? Thanks a lot!

It means films. 'Going to the flicks' (note the different spelling) meant going to the cinema. I think it was mostly used in American English.In your sentence the writer has changed the '-cks' spelling to '-x'.
