a) Sarebbe bello che io andassi a trovare mia nonna nel pomeriggio. b) Sarebbe bello andare a trovare mia nonna nel pomeriggio. In (b) you are referring to a 'generic subject', probably some other members of your family, with you included. Note that the syntax in (a) is /condizionale/ + /congiuntivo/
