Many problems exist in our lives. Above all, our team aims to solve school problems. A member of our team uses the Sports Center, and after hearing about the Sports Center from him, we became interested in the problems with it and researched how to solve these problems. We gathered data by visiting the Sports Center and conducting an interview with one of their office workers. We applied our data to a spreadsheet and used an algebraic formula to calculate the needs of the Sport Center.
In conclusion, the Sports Center needs ten treadmills, two bicep curl machines, four chest press machines, and one leg extension machine. We also calculated that the total cost would be 55.1 million won. Our thorough investigation of the Sports Center found that the operating revenue would be over 9 billion won each semester, so, overall, the cost of 55.1 million won seems insignificant.
We realized that abstract problems can be solved by using algebraic formulas and linear programming. We hope current and future students can use the Sports Center more than before to improve their health.
(I hope this helped.)
