pass, passed, past I walked past the house. I walk past the house. I passed the house while walking. The second one is kind of a misleading hint, since you don't spend a child like currency; I think it means your 'child period' or 'growing up as a child' in which case the answer is 'childhood'. You could also say she "passed her childhood in England" since childhood is a period of time that is elapsing.
