Spanish language or the Spanish language? I have seen many messages on italki like "I want to learn Spanish language". I was taught that in this case the article the is completely necessary. Was I taught something wrong? Which one is correct? I want to learn Spanish language or I want to learn the Spanish language?I think it would sound more natural to say "I want to learn Spanish". Am I wrong? Thanks in advance for your answers.

"I want to learn Spanish language" is incorrect. "I want to learn the Spanish language" is correct. You are indeed correct about the sentence "I want to learn Spanish" sounding more natural, therefore I think you should use this one ^-^

Exactly what cocara said: "I want to learn Spanish" is the most natural way of saying it. It is what I would use. "I want to learn the Spanish language" is also correct. "I want to learn Spanish language" is incorrect.
