Are you sure this is Mandarin? I couldn't think of any word that sounds like pa-pa-zao in Mandarin. It sounds more like Taiwanese, or Southern Min.

It sounds like “趴(趴pā )趴(趴pā)走(造zào)” in Taiwanese.
趴趴走
We make sound of “pa pa pa” while we are running without shoes.
趴趴 in here is an onomatopoeia.
1.小朋友在賣場趴趴走(四處亂跑),不怕跌倒。
2.我喜歡趴趴走(四處遊走),亂拍照。
3.Lily整天在外趴趴走(四處鬼混),也不知道在忙些什麼?
