Well you could start with some vocab. Memrise has a bunch of courses and you don't really need to learn too many words or too much grammar in order to talk with Dutch people. Do make sure however that they know that your trying to learn Dutch as a lot of Dutch people are quite fluent in English or other languages. Ik wil Nederlands leren/oefenen. Is a phrase that might help. Other resources that can use is dutchpod101.com has some videos on youtube that can help you a lot of vocabulary and will help a lot with your comprehension. dutchgrammar.com could also help and if you still need help I'll be more than happy to help. In general the video is very useful but there are a few things that haven't been mentioned in the video. I hope these tips help and if you still need help I'll be happy to help. So to give you something to practice here are a few useful phrases. Aangenaam kennis te maken. - Nice to meet you. Kunt u dat nog een keer zeggen - Can you say that again. Wat betekent ..... in Engels? - What does it mean in English? Kunt u het voor mij opschrijven? - Could you write it down for me? (the pronunciation might be a bit hard though.) Hoe zeg je ..... in het Nederlands? - How do you say ..... in Dutch. Met vriendelijke groeten, (With kind regards,) Wout. (good luck/veel succes)
