There are so many famous musicians and bands in the British Isles (that includes Ireland) but I will try to choose some famous ones: Westlife, Kaiser chiefs, the killers, razorlight, the beatles (from the 1960s but still very famous), Led Zeppelin. Classical music is also quite popular in Britain. Britain's favourite composer is probably Handel (a German!) and many of his pieces are official pieces in Britain like 'Zadok the Priest' which is played when the British monarch is crowned.

Hi, here are some of the most famous Australian bands: ACDC, Crowded House, Air Supply,Silver Chair, Killing Heidi, INXS, Powder finger, The living end, Eskimo Joe, Midnight Oil, Jet and Spider Bait,The Saints, The Birthday Party, The Go-betweens, the Veronicas, Guy Sebastian, Tina Arena & The Triffids. Of course there are many more.

In my country Germany they just hear Hip Hop and Pop crap. Nobody is for real Heavy Metal and those ones who are are those crappy gothic kids. Nobody hear real metal from Metallica, ManOwaR, Megadeth or Meat Loaf. Its so boring here!
