Taken for granted My friend doesn't appreciate what I do for him, he always thinks that I'm ready to do everything for him. He must be taking your for granted. Is the phrase "take for granted" correct in the sentence above?

The phrase is good but used incorrectly.It should be " Your friend is taking you for granted".

If you are the one talking in the second paragraph, then you have to say "he is taking me for granted".
