The differences between 还是 and 或者 when meaning "or"
Hello fellow language learner friends. Thanks for all the previous help everyone's given.
I am looking for a good explanation about the difference between 还是 and 或者 when they mean "or". I know they can both mean "or", but is there any difference or are they completely interchangeable?
I'm pretty sure there is a difference. Let me explain my current understanding of it and ask for you guys to give me input:
For example, when listing options:
你想要吃冰淇淋还是酸奶?-- I think feels more natural than
你想要吃冰淇淋或者酸奶?-- I feel this is less natural because when listing options usually I use 还是
But when explaining something, perhaps 或者 is more natural?

我觉得他很喜欢她,还是至少他有兴趣
Does that make sense?
