Hi I wanna some1 to recommand me a book to read! It'd be great if it's based on crime or science fiction and for upper intermediate level. Thank you so much =D

I quite like older classics by the likes of Agatha Christie and Dorothy L Sayers (I imagine the Sherlock Holmes series is in a similar vein) but, if you want more contemporary crime, Robert Galbraith's The Silkworm series is probably quite good as well. As for science fiction, again, there are classics like the works of HG Wells or there are (slightly) more contemporary works Arthur C Clarke or Ray Bradbury. More contemporary still, I've heard *really* great things about The Martian by Andy Weir (which came out in 2011). Arthur C Clarke and Andy Weir's books get a little technical sometimes some I'm not sure if they might prove to be too challenging, but you can always pick them up later if that turns out to be the case.
