If you post the entire passage, then the translation may be done in context. Otherwise you will only end up with inane non-native sentences such as "You don't need to achieve success"! Transliteration will always be quite monstrous. What sounds good in Chinese often sounds awkward and silly if translated mechanically word by word according to a dictionary. Most Chinese-English dictionaries are not very good anyway. You need to put on an English-based mentality to write in English, even when it is a translation. You probably need something like "It is all right to fail, but one must never give up the desire to progress". Or do you mean, "It is all right to lead an ordinary life, so long as one finds personal growth every day"?
