The sentence "Everyone can go back in now", can I only write "Everyone can go back now"?

Both are valid, but adding the "in" emphasizes that the destination is inside

If you want to emphasize that everyone needs to go inside a room or building, then you need to say "Everyone can go back in now." If you just want people to go back to where they were, or back to their places, you can say, "Everyone can go back now."
