How to say "a lot of people came" in Korean?
I faced two different sentences and I don't know which one is correct and natural to say:
사람들이 많이 왔다.
많은 사람들이 왔다.
Do these sentences have any difference?
Both sentences are correct and there's no difference between the two sentences.

Both sentences have same meaning.
사람들이 많이 왔다 is more commonly used colloquially than 많은 사람들이 왔다.
Another example:
For "Happy New Year!", we usually say "새해 복 많이 받으세요!"
No one says "새해 많은 복 받으세요!".
