Is it possible to find a Swedish partner that wants to improve their English? I've only been learning Swedish for a short while now, but I've been finding it difficult to find a Swedish person that wants to learn English, due to their super level of English around Sweden. Any advice on learning Swedish for a native Englishman? Thanks :)

Wow Daniel, that's a toughy. All of us Swedish learners have the same plight. It's hard to find a language partner when your partner already is excellent. Don't give up hope. I was fortunate to have found a great partner, but in the meantime, you can practice listening to Swedish and familiarizing yourself with Swedish if you have a Swedish language book (epub, kindle, pdf, even old-fashioned acoustic), and the same also as a Swedish audiobook. You can read the book whilst listening to the audio component so that you familiarize yourself with the sound. You'll begin to put sound with word just like when we were children and our parents or whomever read to us. There's also watching Swedish television with English subtitles, websites like duolingo, memrise, and some others.
