About the title which seems to come from /sentence translation/, where 'sentence' has taken the
role of an adjective.
Let me state this clearly: Italian language does not have this or similar forms (by the way this is one reason why I enjoy English language so much!).
In Italian you should always use small particles like di,della,del, etc.:
Traduzione di una frase.
Other examples:
At light speed: alla velocita` della luce
Is this a pocket submarine? Questo e` un sottomarino tascabile (here you have an adjective, following the noun!)
Color TVs appeared in Italy much later than in the US.
I televisori a colori fecero la loro comparsa (= apparirono) in Italia molto dopo che negli Stati Uniti.
Car window: finestrino DELLA macchina.
