get.have.turn Which is more correct I want to......them ( pupils ) more interested in science. I think it is" get", but why not " have? Thanks

Get is more 'pro-active'. It suggests that the speaker is doing something to encourage and foster that interest. Have is more passive - 'I just want them like that'.
