I think it would be better to use a different construction in this case, for example: An leabhar atá le ceannach ag an fhear di.

I would write it as: "An leabhar cé acu an fear ní mór cheannach as léi" OR "An leabhar cé acu an fear a cheannach léi" Regards, M
