What does this phrases means? "turn you in" and "they're turning on him" I heard it when I was watching a television and I'm confused what "turn" means in these sentences and also if there are other expressions with the word "turn" please do tell. Thanks in advance!

To "turn you in" could mean to "give someone to the police, or other law enforcement agency" such as "I have to turn you in for your crime". "They're turning on him" means that they are betraying him or changing sides, such as "The mind control worked! They're turning on him!" or something along those lines. Hope this helped!
