If it's good food, you can use these: Yummy, scrumptious, appetizing, (very) tasty, (very) delectable, (very) appetizing If it's GREAT food, these might be in order: Delightful, scrumptious, exquisite, divine, amazing, incredible, sublime, splendid, heavenly

Or go for your regular adjectives "How was the food?" "It was amazing/fantastic/excellent!"
