Would someone please turn this sentence into the present perfect tense? The sentence is this: - I don't know if he did it or not. I want to turn this part of the sentence: ... if he did it or not. Should I say 'I don't know if he had it or not'? Thank you in advance.

'He had' is still simple past. You have changed the verb from 'to do' to 'to have.' The present perfect form of 'to do' here would be 'has done.' I don't know if he has done it or not.
