How should I begin my answer? When answer the question "Do you like weekends?" In my opinion, they(weekends) have both advantages and disadvantages, so i should not begin my answer with "Yes, I do", or "No, I don't". My question is how should I begin with my answer ? Can I say this way ? "Kind of, on the one hand, I can relax and unwind after a week of hard work, on the other hand, my toddlers can be rather noisy at home, which annoys me." what are common words to use to start the answer? what kinds of linking words I can use ? besides, on the one hand, on the other hand.

In English, we call this "having mixed feelings." So you can say "I have fixed feelings about weekends." When we have mixed feelings about something, we also like to start the answer with "Yes and no." And then you can explain your mixed feelings.
