How can I have more success in memorizing english grammar and vocabulary? I have a notepad where I write things somethings, but to be honest, this is not something that I do regularly. I started with this "hobby" 1 month ago and I didn't managed to create a routine to do that. All I know about english I learned in an instinctive way - listening to music, watching tv, etc. To have a formal routine is not something that I'm used to. When I'm writing, I miss some new or just basic words. Also, as I never studied grammar, I know that I have some "serious" problems sometimes to write a phrase that makes sense. I have stupid questions like what's the difference between "right" and "correct". I always search in google when it happens, but I don't think I really absorb when I just read. I already have the habit to read newspapers in english, but I face the same problem here - absorb the grammar and the new words that I saw.

Everyday I read the NYTIMES, and I always find a word, phrase, or expression that is strange to me and I have to look up. And I am a native English speaker. Natives are no more born with knowledge of English then you are. I guess it's something you have to try to practice each day. And natives make many mistakes too. So I wouldn't recommend you whinge all the time about the mistakes you make. It's natural.

I think what you are going through is very normal to everyone starts learning a foreign language. You should be patient and look for what the funny way you like to use in learning and everything will be okay. You should trust your abilities or else you will not be able to do anything
