interesting entries? Hello, I have a problem with writing reports and letters in the languages I'm learning. They are BORING! Technically I know the vocabularies and the grammar and I can do the exercises, but when I want to create something on my own I can't form anything. Do I lag vocabularies or what is it? Does any of you have any tips?

What kind of reports/letters are you referring to? If it's what I'm thinking, I'm not sure if "boring" would be a problem. After all, they ought to contain "serious" matters. The best thing I can think of is to Google some of the examples so you can get an idea how they are typically structured.

... now that I've read your comment, it seems there are a lot more language issues than I thought. Never realiesed that I do it in englisch and german as well. Thank you for telling me. And the new sentences will be tested right away.

try using all the grammar you already know to rephrase sentences starting with 'I'. you might want to start from your native language, and only than translate phrases into the target language.

might it be the case that in your native language you do the same only without noticing it? almost all sentences in your entry above start with 'I' or have 'I' next to it's beginning.. I used to have such a problem, so foreign languages helped me to be less boring in my native language as well ).

It is not a problem for me to learn and being motivated. The problem is that i have penpals with whom i want to write in their language and that for example french and japanese i have to do homework where i write about my weekend or the holidays or just answer what i did that day. And ally sentences start with this boring atashi wa..... atashi no.... which is normally no problem but for 20-30 sentencesin a rowO.o? And my teachers don't help me since it would go past the textbook.
