"Japanese weird foods"?
To me, what comes to mind is what a weird phrase it is.
Japanese foods, at least those widely known in foreign countries, are not weird at all. As far as I know they are at the top of the delicacies and most people are happy and proud to eat them. Sushi and sashi-me are simply amazing because they are tasty and good for your health at the same time. They are also simple and don't leave any bad odor either - the best combination you can ever think of. Even most Chinese and Korean foods (Japan's neighbors) don't have these trains.
Japan has exported a lot of things to the world, but I think her foods are the best of them.
