1.Visit italy for more than a month and take activities that will have you 'mixed' with the native speakers.
2. BUY A SATELLITE TV! It is a great help, watch italian channels.
3. Listen to italian songs, preferably for kids, this is what I'm doing in English!
4. Watch italian broadcasts in youtube, if you can't afford buying a satellite TV now.

yes, listen to songs & buy a vocabulary to translate them your own...that's how I lear english hahah!!!
