What Tv shows, books,.. would you recommend to watch/read while learning Portuguese? I'm looking for some rather easy tv shows or books in Portuguese to help me with learning the language and keeping exposed to hearing/reading it. I just started learning so it would be nice if there exist English subs.

To learn, I'd recommend "Toma lá da cá"... it's a commedy series where they speak clear and it's very funny.

I watch a lot of different YouTube channels like "5 alguma coisa" and "Põe na Roda". I've also watched "Luluzinho" since I have already watched the show when I was younger. If you're a fan of cartoon shows, I would recommend looking for a Portuguese dubbed version. They even have those for animé. Other than that, I've watched "O Globo" to get a feel of a more formal version of Portuguese. In terms of books, I would recommend readers children's books. I've also read the Little Prince, the Alchemist and Charlotte's web in Portuguese. I pretty much read whatever I've already read in English so I have a gist of the story.
