in the snow
do you say
to be in the snow or to be on the snow ?
Or do they have different meanings?
I want to say : to spend some free time enjoying the snow in the mountains.
Thanks
We usually say "in the snow." (For example: I like spending time in the snow)
"On the snow" is grammatically correct also, but it is only used in certain specific situations.
