Do these greets are proper and correct? When I am writing an informal letter to my close friend, I use following greetings to start my letter. 1. How is everything going there? 2. I hope this finds you and your family well. 3. How is you preparing for your upcoming holiday/final exam? I hope everything has done and dusted. 4. I hope you have recovered from your bad cold. 5. Have you recovered from your tiring trip? I hope everything is fine. are the above sentence grammatically correct? Are they proper to use to greet a close friend? Thank you so much

Almost perfect! Just a few errors, here are the corrections: 3. How are the preparations for your upcoming holiday/final exam going? I hope everything is done and well polished. (I personally have never heard or used the phrase "done and dusted," but perhaps it exists in other English speaking countries. Perhaps other users could comment on that.) Everything else was fine. Well done!
