Traditional Danish food to take abroad? Going back home for Christmasmas and want to bring some Danish goodness with me - in a backpack. Question is what and is there a good place in Copenhagen to get it from? So far I'm thinking a great pot of Risalamande and/or aebleskiver. Suggestions?

Rugbrød! You can get it pretty much everywhere, like supermarkets :)

Ah sorry, I just realised you wrote 17 days ago, so I'm probably way too late. I hope you found something to bring with you home :D

Risalamande and æbleskiver is a great idea! Add pebbernødder, klejner and brunkager :) Hmm and maybe jødekager and vaniljekranse?
