中国語と日本語で「先生」の意味?

in chinese,「先生」is equal to "Mr.",but in japanese, i know 「先生」 means teacher, is there any meaning of 「先生」in japanese?

       现在日语上「先生」有汉语的“老师+师父+师傅(专门)”的意思。
    除了知道他的工作以外,叫不认识人的时候我们不用。

    日语中的"先生"可以表示老师,医生等意思,中文里的"先生"多是对男性的一种称呼,相当与日语里面的"さん"

    I am software engineer. My boss sometimes call me "先生".
    I am not teacher, but he call me "先生".
    Maybe he thinks I know about program we develop now more than him.
    I don't like it ^^
    I want him to call me with my name.

    This is one of example...
