如果我的理解正確的話，講英文的人說這話的時機是：他們現在因為某種原因在做某件事情，或碰到某種情況；但是他們又無法想起是什麼樣的過程或原因讓他們現在變成這樣，這原因不一定是昏倒或睡著，有時只是出了神而已。有時也只是因為懶得交代過程或是為節省篇幅而已。
如果是昏倒、睡著、出神，如此中文大致上會說「等我回過神來竟......」；如果是懶得交代過程或是為節省篇幅，可以說「不知不覺」；如果想要表達上件事和下件事連接的唐突感，其實用「突然」應該就可以了。

并不是只有睡醒 时 才用 醒过来这个词的 醒过来 在这里可以表达清醒后明白了发现了是怎么一回事的意思，不是说你睡了一觉刚醒， 这是中文用语的一个习惯性语法。
这里应该不是说醒过来 可翻译为 刚刚我还好好的走在街上，然而接下来我却。。。
