How to pronounce "z" in "feliz"? The same as in English or like "sh" in English?

Actualy, there are two ways to pronounce it. If you say "feliz" in portuguese spoken in Brasil you should pronounce it "feliss" like in "hapiness" (as everyone said), but if you speak the word in portuguese spoken in Portugal you should pronounce it "felish".

Every word that ends with the letter "z", in portuguese from Portugal, is pronounced with "sh".
