what do you think of gay ? do you accept or discriminate?

its totally fine to be gay, its just given a bad history, in many cases people dont accept gay people because of the bible and word of god... I dont understand it though, love is love, isnt it? people should accept for sure!

Given that I have a few friends who are gay and it doesn't really bother me at all... I'd say I accept.

I think it's hilarious when homophobes or people that don't like gay people say stuff like "I don't want to be their friend because they'll hit on me!" 1. That's EXTREMELY modest, isn't it? ;) 2. ...Tell them you don't like them, smart child...

i can accept gay as well as lesbian. we are the same ,just holding different values
and maybe gay guys are the ideal friends for women, who are sweet, careful and the most important is you don't have to worry to be loved by him.

I do not accept because it is a great sin for humans. They do not understand why? We can explain. God created man and woman, not man and man, or woman and woman. So one man must be with one woman - it is His rule and who we are to disobey His rules? So when He says it is forbidden we must accept this without comments. But I do not support their discrimination of sociaty. First of all, they are people and we must not behave with them like with bad animals. We have to try to make them believe in God and to put off their passions and so on, so to get rid of this. People think that it is in our nature - one is gay, another straight. Do not believe this! It is big lie which is satan's work I think. It is not in our gens. People were made gays after Adam and Eva sinned( if someone is interested about this I can explain but not here because people will understand me wrongly and I think I must not write my sermons on italki because it is language-site not religious site). So we must try to help them and not to make them kind of exiles. We have to continue to treat them like ordinary people if they cannot struggle and give in because it is their choice. Everyone has his ways and he has free will. So this means that he can be gay because of free will. It is his choice.

Acceptance is the way to go. Everyone has their likes and dislikes. What gender a person is attracted to makes absolutely no difference and there is no reason to judge them based on it. In terms of judging a person based on this matter, it can only be comparable to racism. It's the only modern issue that separates people so strongly and yet doesn't matter at all.

I usually accept them, I have no problem with this, it just depends on the person. For example, I have a very good neighbor who lives with his partner and they are well educated nice men who never get in fights with anyone, them I respect them because they respect me and I love them as if they were my uncles.
But I have a classmate who wears purses, lip gloss and flirts on boys, he is very mean with me and he is always pushing me, cutting in the line and all but he wants us to respect his rights as a gay person, I don't think that just because of this I am not able to defend myself when he does not treat me well and is actually not respecting me, this kind of gay people says that they are acting as women but it is exaggeration, pure female stereotype they follow and a mockery to my gender, this people I don't insult ( unless provoked ) but I don't like.

So you see, it depends on the personality of the person but overall it's good to have your own preference.

Whatever makes people happy, I'm happy....Dont really think too much about it. Not sure what it's like in other coutries, but in Sweden gay people are considered as any people. What's the fuss all about? Ohh...the church here in Sweden still have a hard time accepting gay marrige, that's all.

I only discriminate if I find someone's actions to be immoral. For that reason, I don't discriminate against gays, just as I don't discriminate against people of certain nationalities or religions -- regardless of whether they were born into them or adopted them during the course of their lives.

Where are all the "haters" in here?

Gay or not gay, I don't care. I don't have any gay friends (as far as I know), but I don't think that I am actively avoiding gay people.

It is good for anyone to "do their thing" as long as I don't have to hear about it.

i think the gays are human too..so that we have to take care for them and not stay away from them

i like to joke about homosexual, as much as i joke about japanese ourself.
maybe it could be natural science being gay now.
we have problem of population..

i have friends who is bi- sexual. and i think they are cool, because they consider human rights and other matters, because they know how it feels being minority.
haters can mind their problems.
but sometimes i mind that nice looking asian guys with cool outfit, so many times, look so gay.. i think they should be care if they are not gay.. :D
