hey Travis what's up?
here's a short filipino nursery rhyme that i could share with you.
paa, tuhod, balikat, ulo (4x)
(foot, knee, shoulder, head).
just to appreciate what the first three had shared, i will tell you the meaning of it:
Rinoa: Tells something about the big (malaki) and tasty/delicious (masarap) crab (alimango), yet it's so hard to catch (mahirap mahuli) because it bites (sapagkat nangangagat)!
Cristine: Bahay Kubo.... a philippine folk song that tells about our national house (bahay kubo - nipa hut) and the different plants (mga tanim) surrounding it. by the way, most of the plants mentioned there are vegetables...
Noypi: Sampung mga daliri (ten fingers), kamay (hand) at (and) paa (foot). dalawang tenga (two ears), dalawang mata (two eyes), ilong na maganda (beautiful/fine-looking nose).
Malilinis (clean) na ngipin (teeth) masarap (good-tasting/delicious) kumain (eat), dilang maliit nagsasabing 'wag kang magsinungaling (small tongue tells not to say a lie)!
I hope you could sing along with these basic rhyme and appreciate it.
Paalam (good-bye)
