@multani yes you have a point.

its like serving two master one at time.well for me if your parents can send you in school try to finish it without failing any subject so can shorten the period of your study.then you can find a good job that suits for your course. their could be a possibilities that you will never finish your studying if your have part time since you been earning money your interest for studying might fade i see it already to some of my schoolmates."well i guess it's up to the people"

i may say "study well its for your own good"

    hi 眉黛儿 // Jennifer !

it's better to stay focus at your studies first. Money is just along the way once you have completed your course. although sometimes in some poor town, many college students tend to find a part time job to cover their school expenses. in this kind of situation, having a part time job is not an issue. much more than that, a student is more inspired at their studies knowing that the money they're using for shool expenses came from their own effort!!!!

maybe a part time job for a college students is best during summer time / school break.

    study hard my friend!

    谢谢。。。加油!!!

    :)

    Hello Jennifer ,
Maybe a summer job or a job in the vacation ,but anyways it depends on the student's ability to balance between both. If the student can't manage so the priority is for the studies.

it is up to you,it depends on whether you have enought time.if the answer is positive, just do it,'cause the experiences will help you find a job easier comparing with your counterparts after your graduation;if negative, just quit your job, after all, study is the first priority for a student.as long as you have a good command of knowledge in your field, aren't you afraid of finding a good job?what do you think?

All the responses have been excellent, so I can only add this: if you need money whilst at College and can stick to a study timetable, by all means get a part time job. Just be wary of employers who might give you late evening shifts, because then you'll lose your study time and be tired for lectures the next day.Maybe you can get a job in your field of study,eg if you're studying to be a vet, you might get a casual job with the local vet.
