if globalization tends to preserve our environment and protect our world, there's no reason why would everyone will not live their lives as happy as ever.
as globalization is usually recognized as being driven by a combination of economic, technological, sociocultural, political and biological factors (even technologies), continually improves one's lives but unwittingly, sometimes, creates conflict among political leaders, unexplained economic recession, or environment deterioration.
with the current state our world is facing, I don't think so.
