different cultures have different point of view about getting married. as liberated as a girl can be nowadays, I think they can choose what's good for them, or what could a marriage brings in their lives. however, like for instance the situation here in our country, most of those (girls) who got married at early age, do not attain the fullest of their lives and sometimes, end up with having an 'unhappy family'. Although the marrying-age for a girl starts at 18, it does not necessarily mean that you can 'tie a knot' right away. like what jura said, we can't specify the exact age of a girl to get married. after all, it's not the age that really counts, but until the fact that a girl will be mature enough to handle a 'new' responsibilities. :)

Hi Anna, love can come to people at different times, so I don't see why it's such a big deal if people want to get married or live together once they can support themselves and have somewhere to live. I don't think that I can specify what age a girl should be. Young women are capable of making their own decisions at that point and know what is right or wrong. There are many couples who got married right out of high school and have been married 50 years! Some people say that you should have a career established first and be financially stable before you even think about getting married. Nowadays, a lot of people live together before getting married. I know that many of you will disagree with me and say that it's unwise to get married at a young age, but statistics tell us that it's also better to have children before women reach 30 years of age.

you can get different answers according to countries.cultures,religions! but there are some common facts! i think every girl has some dream every girl wanst that i want to be this or that after studying this or that! so i think when you are satisfied with your education, you can think about your marriage! for me education is priority! because after getting marry you have many things besides your study! and other thing is self depend stage! when you can earn good amount of money by your self then it is good time to think for marriage! and i disagree with early marriage! in early stage of life! we are not enough developed to fight against the problems of real life! we dont know what is the reality of life! and after some time you can not adjust with your so called life partner! so after all if you want answer in single sentence then common age for marriage is after 23 years!
