How to be a good teacher?

first, be a bad teacher but keep in mind that i'll be a good teacher eventually...i guess.

you cannot show that your bad teacher cause even that you think deep inside to your mind that you will be a good teacher your student will keep it in their mind that your really a bad teacher "first impression last" you cannot be good model to your student..

I ask my students this question each year. Without fail, every class comes up with a list of these qualities.
A good teacher should know their subject and try to make their lessons interesting.
A good teacher should be a good listener.
A good teacher should set boundaries and be firm and fair with students.
A good teacher should be able to install confidence in their classes.
A good teacher should be able to make their class feel at ease.
A good teacher needs to remain calm but should be able to have a joke with their class when it is appropriate.

It is true that all good teacher need to have all these qualities above, but to me a good teacher is someone who like to teach, to listen and to guide...
You need also lot of patience and understanding.
