순창 찰고추장은 "청정원" 이라는 회사에서 만든 제품 이름이에요.
여기서 "찰"은 끈기가 있고 차지다는 뜻이 있는 접두사인데요, "찰떡", "찰옥수수", "찰엿" 이렇게 쓰입니다. 감이 오시는지요? (^_^;)
