i can speak cantonese, but my accent is different from the Hong Kong people , so maybe i can not help you. But i would like to give you some advise, maybe you can search the website for some Hong Kong movie or drama, if you enjoy that, they really help~~~~

A good first step is to listen to the "Naked Cantonese" radio show on RTHK3 every Tuesday. Don't have time? Then d/l the podcasts:

Cecilie Gamst Berg teaches some basic Cantonese in a fun way (rather then dead boring way 99.9% of others do).
