sóc català. M'agradaria tenir una mica d'intercanvi de missatges amb algú que sigui occità.....

I don't speak Occitan, but I think it's a great pity that this language has declined so much in importance and usage. Being similar to Catalan, I can understand Occitan when it is written, although I have never heard it spoken. It was my understanding that outside of the home in certain areas of France, Occitan is unlikely to be heard, having given way to Modern French in almost all areas of public life.
