English speakers learning Turkish
What are some of the difficulties for English speakers learning Turkish? Pronunciation? Grammar? Everything?

I think one of the most important points in learning a language is to know more about the culture. As the learner gets to know more about the culture and its depth, it is easier for him/her to get more into the language.
About pronunciation, yes, Turkish is a language in which the words are pronounced as they are written (or written as they are pronounced). In this respect, it differs from English language. But I don't think that it will cause big problems for progress.
I believe that the main problem of a native English speaker will be the grammar. As Turkish is language where you set up the sentence with the verbs that are conjugated with changeable suffixes to it (unlike english in which the conjugations are made with words like modals), that may constitute the main problem.
But I think that anyone who is interested in languages (enough) would easily solve the Turkish language as well and show progress in a reasonable time.
