What kind of Anime do you like? I usually watch popular ones such as Rurouni Kenshin, Naruto, Detective Conan, Great Teacher Onizuka, and some series from Gundam.
Right now, Gintama is my favorite...it's filled with variety, mentioning a lot of other mangas and making a comedy out of it. Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo (ボボボーボ・ボーボボ) is no different, all it talks about is hair. They both share something in common, it is randomly stupid and hilarious at the same time with no plot at all.
Do not waste your time watching Bleach, that is a terrible anime.....

Do you like riddles? Then I'd recommend you Detective Conan. You can watch it on MyVideo in japanese subtitles...
Romantic: Ouran High School Host Club, DN Angel
Action: Fullmetal Alchemist, Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood, Bleach, Naruto
Supernatural/dark: Death Note,
That's all I can think of at the mo. These are all good, in English and Japanese. These have quite a list of voice actors (quite a stellar-cast), including Vic Mignogna (Eng), Alessandro Juliano (if you've heard of Smallville, he's in that sometimes), Brad Swaille (Eng), Mamoru Miyano (Jap), Caitlin Glass (Eng), Greg Ayres (Eng). All except Swaille and Juliani are in more than one of these shows, lol.
Although, Swaile (who's in Death note) is in that Aninmated version of X-Men, if you've heard of it.
If you like the kiddie stuff, then I recommend Pokemon (but only up to the first two series), Digimon (probably same), and Moster Ranchers. I watched all these as a kid, so i know their worth. I even watched Tenchi Muyo back in the old days, but that doesn't count as a kiddie show, does it?
