    hi Rose,

    1. What is the time now?
    "Ano'ng oras na (ngayon)?"

    2. It's 8 am. (How do we describe time in Tagalog).
"Alas-otso na (ng umaga)." / "Ika-walo na ng umaga"... here, the former is always used while the latter is a formal (and a classic) way of saying it.

    3. What is the date today?
    "Ano'ng petsa ngayon?"

    4. It's 24th July 2010. (How do we describe dates in Tagalog).
"A-bente kwatro na ng Hulyo." / "Ika dalawang pu't apat ng Hulyo."
I did not include the year here assuming that you are speaking today. however, should you want to know "2010" in tagalog: "dalawang libo, at sampu'ng taon."

additional (5). what is the day today? - "ano'ng araw ngayon?"

additional details in expressing time in tagalog:

    today - 'ngayon'
    tonight - 'mamayang gabi'
    tomorrow - 'bukas'
    yesterday - 'kahapon'
    last night - 'kagabi'
    this year - 'ngayo'ng taon'
next year - 'susunod na taon'

    :)

    point for my bro.
