What is the importance of learning English?

well,it depends on you.I have worked in a hotel which would accept foreign guests,and the staff of it only can speak fluent english,it is hard for them to listen to news and read newspaper.I think that is enough for them.and I ask them how can they handle english so well.they told me beacause we have to .so if you have to do something,and I promise you will be good at it some time.furthermore,from this case ,we can see how important it is to have a english environment.these people work with so many foreignors that they can have chance to use english.if you really want to study english well,you should pay more attention to it and try to find a good environment for yourself...good luck to everyone..oh,one more thing..I hope we hope try to put some time on chinese so as to be ware of that we are chinese ..do not lose our own language and culture...
