There are so many milestones of movies in the tamil language. I'm very interested in your personal top lists. Please explain your rating to make everything more special. Secondly you can for example deal with the specific language that is mostly spoken in that very movie - rural or chennai or madurai etc. or even sri lankan dialect etc.
Ill make a quick start: I love Alaipayuthey. Madhavan and Shalini act very well. I think you can hear mostly very beautiful Chennai Tamil. Noteable is the famous scene where Karthik (Madhavan) is jogging next to the train in which Shakti (Shalini) and her sister stand. Karthik would say a very special statement to Shakti. Best, if you don't know, check yourself ;), you will enjoy.
