I read on a wikipedia article that there are some that are a lot more common in Taiwan that aren't used in China.Like for instance--唷. (Also, for everyone who also studies Japanese, is 唷 just like the Japanese よ?)

It depend on your feeling,But some people (especial for young girl) ,they want be let other feel cute or friendly, they would using this. and this habit is similar with Japanese.
