Which tutorial is suitable for self-study learners to learn Swedish?

I'm a new learner of Swedish and I'm using the software RosettaStone for Swedish learning. I think the gramma part is not systematic so I download a set of book named "svenska utifrån". I think a dictionary is still helpful, Iand know some people who willing to help has already gave me a online dic but I hope the dictionary is in the verson of pdf or could be installed in my computer would be best.
At last I just wondered how Swedish typing letters like "å,ä", are they got their special typing system or using other words instead of them when they typing. As my second foreign lauguage is Germany I know that they use ''ae" in stead of "ä", well how Swedish solve the problem with a circle on the head of "a"?

Oh damn, I had a long answer written yesterday. Must have forgot to click Submit and then closed the tab :/

Anyways regarding dictionaries there is really only one you need: Google's translate.google.com
Seriously, it translates perfectly English to Swedish (and vice versa of course). I can't comment on how good it is at translating between Chinese and Swedish so you'll have to investigate that on your own.

About the "å, ä and ö" question I'm not really sure I understand what you mean. If you are using a keyboard that lacks those specific letters you can just exchange them with a and o.

    So that a sentence like:

Idag ska jag på födelsedagsfest och äta tårta.

    Becomes:

Idag ska jag pa fodelsedagsfest och ata tarta.

Someone that is fluent in Swedish will understand the latter sentence without a problem.

Here are some website I found very interesting

    :-) BYE!

you can try this site: http://www.swedish-flashcards.com/

and you can find a dictionary and the wordlist here:
    http://www.freelang.net/dictionary/swedish.php#download

and the letters "ä, å, ö" can be found in Windows by typing the "ALT key + 132" , ALT 134 , and ALT 148
or you can configure your keyboard from "Control Panel > Regional and Language Options > Languages > Details > Add"
to behave like a swedish keyboard
or if you are a Linux user, you can add different keyboard layouts and use the keys next to the "enter key" to type those letters (the procedure to do this varies from one version to another, so send me a private msg if you need more details).

Also you may try reading some newspapers in Swedish language and watching movies with swedish subs to get acquainted with the common expressions and different accents.

    kind regards,
